SCOPE was selected as part of the project team for a new Medical Examiner’s office because of our expertise and dedication to LEED. As the project's LEED consultant, our role has been to establish design criteria and assist in the integration of environmentally conscience design practices according to the guidelines set by the United States Green Building Council . We are also administrating the registration and certification of the project by utilzing the LEED ON-Line process also developed by USGBC.
McAllister Obsessive Constructive
New Sustainable Office Building
McAllister Obsessive Constructive set a early project goal
to develop a new office for themselves that used sustainable
design and building methods.

SCOPE has teamed with Tobin Dudley Starr as the sustainable consultant on a new office building in the Southend part of Charlotte. Through the use of USGBC's LEED NC 2.2 rating system, this 10,000 sq. ft. facility will become the new corporate office for McAllister Obsessive Constructive. The new building, currently under construction on a brownfield site, will increase the levels of occupant comfort by maximizing the use of daylight and views through strategically placed operable windows, water saving plumbing fixtures and sustainable waste management, all providing environmentally conscious design and construction methods.
Town of Carrboro - New Fire Station # 2
Town of Carrboro's commitment to sustainable design allowed for a creative design approach to design one of the first sustainable fire stations in the region.

Presently in the final stages of construction documents, SCOPE has teamed with Stewart Cooper Newell Architects as the sustainable consultant on a new Fire Station for the Town of Carrboro, North Carolina. Combining SCN's national recognition for their fire station expertise, the Town of Carrboro's commitment to sustainable design and SCOPE'S experience with sustainable design, a strong team was formed for this new 9,000 sq. ft. facility.
