Project1

Location: Rock Hill, SC
Size: 82,000 Sq. ft.
Client: Engine Power Source

A need for additional space prompts EPS to purchase and renovate an existing industrial building to which their operations and 56 employees would relocate. In collaboration with AME, Inc., a construction company, this project involved extensive design renovation and expansion of a pre-engineered building. The renovation included the remapping and design of maintenance areas, electronic labs, offices, conference rooms, training rooms, employee break room and restrooms. The office areas included both private and open-work spaces where new doors and windows were installed to maximize natural light. The existing warehouse was also renovated with the addition of docks, overhead doors and the relocation of an existing materials lift. A 5,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered building addition was placed adjacent to the warehouse to create space for the remanufacturing of engines.

Arosa House

The Arosa House provides children in need with a safe,
nurturing place to call home.

Project1

Location: Charlotte, NC – Dilworth Neighborhood
Size: 3,800 sq. ft.
Client: Diamond Builders of America

Website: www.diamondbuildersofamerica.com

Named Arosa House, this property was completed in conjunction with Diamond Builders of America and required extensive repairs and renovations to a historic home operating for the benefit of battered and neglected children. Through extensive coordination, a design to more appropriately accommodate the needs of the residents was approved by the Dilworth Historic Commission leading to the successful completion of Arosa House and to a new asset for the community which it serves. Working closely with local and state code officials, the project was the first group house in the state to be completed under the Rules and Regulations of the Rehab Code of North Carolina.
